Who?

Anyone can become a member of Lawyers Without Borders Canada, whether they are a member of the legal community or not.

How much?

The annual membership fee is $15. We also invite you to make any donation you may find appropriate.

How?

To become a member, you must complete a registration form and submit it by mail or e-mail with a cheque made out to Lawyers Without Borders Canada.

It is also possible to become a member online, through the LWBC's online form (french version) or the CanadaHelps.

Once you are on the CanadaHelps website, ensure that you make a contribution that is at least equal to the appropriate annual membership fee. At stage 3, complete all of the information fields in the section entitled ‘Coordinates of the donor’ and ‘information for receipts’ and check the box indicating ‘Transmit my name, civic and email address to the not-for-profit organization to whom I have made a donation’ in the section on privacy preferences’.

What does membership status entail?

Becoming a member constitutes moral and financial support and an essential gesture of solidarity with LWBC. Members adhere to LWBC’s values and demonstrate, through the annual renewal of their membership and a shared interest in the fulfillment of the association’s mission.
